O’Laughlin Industries is an American owned company based in Hong Kong producing a range of chemicals and ingredients used in flavors, fragrances, foods, beverages and related industries. The company’s production facilities are located in China.
O’Laughlin produces a range of sweeteners and other food chemicals as well as natural and synthetic aroma chemicals and certain essential oils. Its products are sold in major world markets, with most of its products sold to markets such as North America, Europe
and Japan.
O’Laughlin is a privately owned company established in 1980 and solely owned and managed by Michael F. O’Laughlin.
O’Laughlin maintains a strict quality control program to assure consistent quality products. Incoming raw materials and outgoing products are tested using sophisticated testing methods. Instruments include gas-liquid chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography / mass spectrometer, infra-red ultraviolet and visible spectro-photometer.
Manufacturing is done under strict hygienic conditions required for such products. Final processing, from crystallization through drying and packaging are done in air controlled GMP conditions. O’Laughlin’s products are produced in facilities rigidly managed to meet world standards relating to good manufacturing practices.
